The Bitrefill Card is accepted worldwide for online shopping and at merchants that accept contactless payments. Android users can leverage the tap-to-pay feature via Google Pay, thanks to NFC technology. For iOS users, Apple Pay integration is being planned and will be available in the future. Please note that due to our card partner's policies, usage may be restricted to merchants in certain jurisdictions.
There is no charge to get a Bitrefill Card, and there are no monthly maintenance fees. A conversion fee is only incurred when loading funds onto the card. This competitive and transparent fee ensures you always know what you're paying. Furthermore, there are no foreign transaction fees, making international purchases more affordable. We provide two spending limit tiers: Starter and Plus. The Starter level allows for up to 15,000 EUR in deposits and spending with only identity verification. The Plus level, which includes additional identity and address verification, grants you much higher spending capabilities. For more specifics, please see our Pricing page.
Individuals aged 18 or older who passed an identity verification process (managed by our card partner) and are residents of the following countries are eligible to apply for the Bitrefill Card:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.
Residents of these countries are nonetheless not eligible if they are citizens of a restricted jurisdiction (see below), unless they are also nationals from another country not included below.
